Thank you Service Car Rental,
We rent Cars, Vans & trucks all the time when we are in
Costa Rica. But our normal rental company was booked up for
our last trip down so we were forced to look further for a
Van rental. My wife found Service Car Rental listed in A.M.
Costa Rica’s classified ads. So she ask me to get in touch
with them.
So I gave them a call & am I ever glad I did. Rember Guevara
was the person answering the phone at the time and his
English is great. He was polite and very helpful and was
able to get us fixed up with just what we needed in a van.
We got him the information he needed and the reservations
were made. When we arrived we found Rember right where he
said he would be standing with a sign with our name on it
and he was ready to get us to our van. He helped us with our
luggage and took us to the parking lot where the van was
waiting for us….no driving to another location like the
other folks we had dealt with in the past. The paper work
was all ready to sign so with just a quick walk around the
van to look for any prior damage, a couple of strokes of the
pen and a credit card imprint later and we were ready to go!
The van a SUZUKI APV was clean and practically brand new!
They never tried to sell us a bunch of things we didn’t
need, they did offer a couple of options that can make your
visit to Costa Rica less stressful and more enjoyable like a
G.P.S. rental that will give your turn by turn direction to
get you to your hotel or resort or even help you find a gas
station or your favorite food. But there was never a second
when we felt like they were trying to up sale us just to
make more money. Rember Guevara was concerned with getting
us what we needed and he did it with some of the best
service we have ever had from a car rental company. They
were there at the same place to meet us when we got back
too. We just pulled into the parking garage and up to the
upper deck where we had left from and we were right where we
needed to be to enter the airport. It was real door to door
service without having to load and unload our luggage. In
our opinion they named the company right when they chose
Service Car Rental. We wouldn’t have a moment’s hesitation
in recommending them to our best friends!
Thank you Rember Guevara for a very enjoyable rental
experience.

Driving in Costa Rica turned out to be quite the experience,
certainly different than
driving in Canada but after the first day I felt more and
more comfortable.
The road from Atenas to Orotina is enough to adequately
prepare anyone for driving in Costa Rica. One thing I might
mention about our particular car was that when my lights
were on low beam I had
numerous cars flash their bright lights back at me. This
seemed to indicate that the alignment of the headlights are
set a little bit too high. You may want to check into this
for that particular car. Your
service representative arrived at the airport right on time
and we were
able to perform the final check together.
I would recommend your car rental services to any of my
friends who are
thinking of vacationing in Costa Rica. Congratulations.

Service rent a car delivered a car to our hotel and then
later picked it up from another hotel all at no extra
charge. This service made our travels much easier since we
did not have to worry about pick up and drop off at unknown
and difficult-to-find locations . The vehicle was excellent
and so was their service. I would recommend them to any one.
